December 6, 2024. Shanghai - The 6th CEIBS Strategy and Entrepreneurship Annual Academic Symposium took place today at the CEIBS Shanghai campus, during which speakers gathered to discuss the most recent and advanced studies on business strategies and entrepreneurial practices. The event brought together numerous experts to explore topics such as ESG, AI, relational strategy, and more.

CEIBS faculty continued to play a prominent role in global media throughout this year, offering valuable insights into the most pressing business and economic issues involving China and the world.

The global pharmaceutical sector still struggles to balance accessibility against incentivising innovation for new drugs to fight disease, experts heard at an industry event on CEIBS Shanghai campus recently.

In October 2024, CEIBS and IESE Publishing took a significant step in their collaboration with the release of 32 cases in Chinese from IESE Business School on the Global Platform of China Cases (ChinaCases.Org). This milestone, facilitated by a cooperation agreement signed in September 2024, marks the first batch of case studies contributed through this partnership. With more than 8,000 academic materials in multiple formats, IESE Publishing will progressively make IESE Collection available to ChinaCases.Org users in both Chinese and English.

Eight CEIBS professors - Zhao Xiande, Shameen Prashantham, Jiing-Lih (Larry) Farh, Frank Yu, Zhao Hao, Tae Yeol Kim, Ho Kwong Kwan and Katherine Xin - have been included in the 2024 World’s Top 2% Scientists list, demonstrating the research strength and academic influence of CEIBS in global management education.
