Application Requirements

Admission Rounds

The CEIBS Global EMBA programme is a two-year, part-time programme with an annual intake in November. Please find details for the Admission Rounds below. Applications received after the final deadline will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Invite 2 recommenders, send out invitation emails, and ask them to submit recommendations online

Application Fee

The application fee for CEIBS Global EMBA is USD 250, or RMB 1,800.
It will be waived if you take the Executive Assessment.

Take Interview

  • Interviews are scheduled every month during admissions season. You are encouraged to apply as early as possible, to ensure your best chance of admission.
  • The Interview will last for about 45 minutes, and will be conducted by two interviewers, usually one CEIBS professor and one Global EMBA alumnus.
  • The interview will usually be conducted on the CEIBS Shanghai campus, but if you prefer an online interview, it can also be arranged.

Take Test

  • You are encouraged to take the Executive Assessment, which is specifically designed to evaluate the business school readiness of seasoned professionals.
  • The assessment can be taken at any of GMAC’s 600+ testing centres around the world, with flexible scheduling support.

Receive Admission Decision

  • The Admissions Committee will make an overall assessment of your candidacy after reviewing your application materials, interview results, and Executive Assessment score. An admission decision will be made within two weeks of you completing the application process.
  • Re-Application
    CEIBS Global EMBA office will keep all the application files for up to two years. If your application is unsuccessful, and would like to re-apply, please click the Re-Apply button in the Application Portal, or contact the Global EMBA Office for details.
