On November 26, 90 students gathered at CEIBS’ Shanghai campus to begin their opening module and be formally inducted into the Global EMBA programme. 

November 5, 2022. Shanghai – Members from eight Global EMBA classes spanning 2010 to 2018 returned to CEIBS Shanghai Campus this weekend for a much-anticipated alumni reunion. With around 120 alumni in attendance, the event was the perfect chance to catch up, renew old friendships and reflect on the sweeping changes that have shaped the wider world.

Recently, CEIBS held its annual ESG Forum with alumni and students from all programmes, and corporate representatives from different industries and countries in attendance. The event looked at ESG through the lens of sustainable consumption – a crucial measure of how fast and to what extent we can adapt our way of living to meet the long-term demands of a globally sustainable future.

CEIBS has once again claimed the #2 spot in the Financial Times’ global ranking of Executive MBA programmes for 2022. Today’s announcement marks the third consecutive year CEIBS has landed in the #2 position. The school’s Global EMBA (GEMBA) programme is now the top-ranked single-school EMBA programme in the world. CEIBS also remained #1 in Asia in the FT’s MBA ranking earlier this year.

CEIBS’ status as a world-class business school was underlined today as its Global EMBA programme placed second in the Financial Times’ 2021 EMBA ranking. This is the second consecutive year CEIBS has been ranked #2 and the fourth consecutive year it has appeared in the top five. The latest release also makes CEIBS’ Global EMBA the top-ranked single-school programme in Asia. The school’s full-time MBA programme is currently ranked #7 in the world and #1 in Asia by the business media outlet.

On September 25, the Global EMBA Class of 2018 finally undertook their long-awaited graduation ceremony at CEIBS Shanghai Campus. For both the graduates and the school, this was a uniquely special moment, one that marked the culmination of a learning journey that has involved even more twists, turns, trials and challenges than your average EMBA course! The ceremony was the first Global EMBA graduation to take place in a hybrid format, with attendees dialling in from more than 10 countries around the world to celebrate the momentous occasion.
