Faculty
Among the best in Asia, CEIBS’ faculty team is uniquely equipped to deliver a combination of “China Depth” and “Global Breadth” through both teaching and research. 120 faculty members, 98% of whom have overseas experience, represent roughly 20 countries and regions worldwide and bring a wealth of experience from teaching, research and business practice. CEIBS has ranked #1 in the Business Administration category of Elsevier’s list of “Highly Cited Chinese Researchers” for five consecutive years and previously held the largest number of faculty on the list in the field of Business, Management and Accounting for six consecutive years before changes to the category system, an indicator of the school’s research capabilities in these fields.
Initiated by CEIBS, the Global Platform of China Cases has compiled nearly 3,500 China-focused cases, laying a strong foundation for providing China-specific knowledge. The school’s research, which is in the top tier of authoritative rankings, combines the latest theory with practical knowledge. In 2020, CEIBS launched four signature interdisciplinary research areas—China and the World, ESG, AI-powered Enterprise and Management, and Service Excellence—and its research centres continually keep abreast of ever-changing business practices in vital fields.
