April 29, 2017. Barcelona - MBA 2007-2009 Class celebrated their 10 year 'start of CEIBS' reunion in Barcelona. About 25 alumni from China, Europe, Latin America and Dubai joined in the reunion celebrations, in some cases meeting each other again for the first time since graduation!

On Saturday the reunion program started of with a social activity visiting the Sagrada Familia and a Welcome Dinner at the beach of Barcelona. On Sunday, the alumni spent the day at the spectacular site of Cavas Codorniu, just outside of Barcelona. They began with a great case study of the foreign investments of Wanda by CEIBS Professor Zhang Hua who joined from Shanghai Campus. This brought back great memories of spending time and efford in CEIBS classrooms. The other part of CEIBS live, the great social activities, were celebrated in the consecutive hour by watching old pictures and movies from our CEIBS years, bringing back good memories!

After lunch in one of the beautiful rooms of the cavas, there was a social activity visiting the premises of the Cavas with a guide, visiting the cellars where the Cava (a champagne like drink) is stored, and ended with a Cava tasting.

In the evening, back in Barcelona, an excellent dinner was held, with CEIBS President Prof. Pedro Nueno sharing in an impressive speech once again about how CEIBS started off so many years ago, and also painting the future direction of CEIBS. This was further enhanced by the presence and words of Patricia Baehr, the Alumni liason officer from the new campus in Europe: CEIBS Zurich.

Overall a great weekend where we re-connected as if no time had passed at all!
