CEIBS delegation visits Chinese Ambassador to Ghana
October 28, 2024. Accra - A delegation from the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) today paid a visit to the Chinese Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Tong Defa, to discuss collaboration and support following the recent graduation of approximately 100 executives from CEIBS' Advanced Management Programme (AMP), Owner Director Programme (ODP), and Women Entrepreneurship and Leadership for Africa (WELA) programme.
The team was led by Professor Mathew Tsamenyi, Executive Director of CEIBS Africa. During the visit, Professor Tsamenyi expressed gratitude for Ambassador Tong's participation in the graduation ceremony, which showcased the successful development of leadership skills among the graduates.
Ambassador Tong Defa warmly welcomed the CEIBS team and reiterated the Chinese Embassy's commitment to supporting CEIBS in its educational initiatives. He encouraged the institution to reach out for assistance whenever needed, highlighting the embassy's role in fostering educational partnerships and cultural exchanges between China and Ghana.
The discussions focused on enhancing collaboration between CEIBS and local businesses, as well as exploring opportunities for joint initiatives that can further empower African leaders and entrepreneurs. Ambassador Tong emphasised the importance of education in strengthening bilateral relations and shared his vision for future collaborations that would benefit both the Chinese and Ghanaian communities.
Professor Tsamenyi thanked Ambassador Tong for his continued support and expressed hopes for ongoing engagement between CEIBS and the embassy.
