CEIBS MBA students wrapped up their Africa Module on “Doing Business in Africa”

CEIBS celebrated its 25^th anniversary this year and the past 12 months have been filled with many memorable highlights, exciting firsts and other notable milestones. We recap some of the top stories.

December 10, 2019. Shanghai – How to motivate teachers to engage in case development and teaching was one of the key issues discussed today by the Steering Committee of the Shanghai MBA Case Development and Sharing Platform during its sixth meeting at CEIBS.

It was a big year for CEIBS in the news as our faculty weighed in on a wide range of business-related topics. We take a look back at some of what they had to say.

Forty CEIBS MBA 2021 students, together with CEIBS Assistant Professor of Finance Dr. Travers Child, travelled to the Tokyo this week for a International Real Situation Learning Method^TM (RSLM) module on entrepreneurship and innovation in Japan.

December 2-3, 2019. Shanghai – Around 128 faculty members from 86 schools and universities in Greater China visited CEIBS’ Shanghai campus on December 2-3 for the second batch of the 2019 Case Master Development camp.

Students enrolled in Professor Vincent Chang’s inaugural entrepreneurship course visited Orange Dental, a dental clinic chain founded by CEIBS MBA 2014 alumnus David Gao and his partners.

With the fast-paced development of cutting-edge technologies, such as 5G, AI, big data, and cloud computing, topics like OMO (Online-merge-Offline) and IoT (Internet of Things) have become highly relevant and widespread. The boundaries between the real and virtual worlds are becoming increasingly seamless, and this will have a significant impact on our daily lives and future business models. As such, we want you to demonstrate the potential of these technologies in real world applications and wow our judges and audience with your innovative solutions.

November 26, 2019. Shanghai – Responsible Leadership in Action was the focus of discussions at this year's CEIBS Organisational Behaviour & Human Resource Management Symposium. This symposium examined how business leaders can act responsibly in their leadership roles and the impact of their responsible actions on employees, work teams, and organisations in a Chinese context. More than 120 professors, doctoral students, and practitioners from around the world gathered at CEIBS’ Shanghai campus for the event. The symposium provided a platform for learning, networking, and the discussion of new and exciting research in the area of responsible leadership.
