Shanghai. November 6, 2018 – Members of CEIBS’ leadership team and faculty were among thought leaders from the global economy who gathered, during the inaugural China International Import Expo, to discuss China’s Role and Influence in Rebalancing the World Economy. Highlighting CEIBS’ increasing influence in contributing to and shaping China’s economic affairs, presenters during sessions on November 5 & 6 included CEIBS President Li Mingjun, Distinguished Professor and former Prime Minister of France Jean-Pierre Raffarin, along with Professors of Economics Xu Bin and Bala Ramasamy. The roughly 240-member CEIBS contingent at the expo, a major event organised by the Chinese government to show the rest of the world that China is committed to opening up, included President (European) Dipak Jain, Assistant President Yvonne Li, Deputy Director of Alumni Relations Office Tanya Fu and other staff, as well as students and alumni.

As part of our 2018 Executive Forum series, CEIBS recently welcomed Radian Partners Founding Principal Jennifer Zhu Scott to our Shanghai campus for a lecture and Q&A session on “Blockchain Technology and a (Potentially) Decentralised Future”.

CEIBS MBA students and faculty visited the historic Chinese city of Nanjing as part of the MBA China module on ’The Globalisation of Chinese Companies’.

As Asia’s only academic partner of the World Economic Forum’s Global Leadership Fellows (GLF) programme, CEIBS recently welcomed the GLF’s Cohort 16 to the school’s Shanghai Campus for a look at how globalisation, innovation, and emerging technologies are transforming the Chinese business environment.

Challenges and opportunities in future mobility was the focus of discussions during the 16th China Automotive Industry Forum 2018, co-hosted by China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) and the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA).

The CEIBS MBA Class of 2020, in collaboration with the MBA Career Development Centre, hosted two career treks this week, giving students the opportunity to go behind the scenes and explore career opportunities in Greater China and Southeast Asia.

Zurich – About 200 players from the Chinese and Swiss healthcare industries gathered today to discuss innovations in smart healthcare products and services in China, how to leverage smart healthcare technology as a way to reshape the industry in both countries and how both sides can work together in the field. They were attending the Zurich leg of the 4^th Europe Forum series being co-hosted by China’s leading international business school, CEIBS and Credit Suisse. Today’s event explored the broad theme of “Smart Healthcare: Reshaping the Healthcare Industry in China and Switzerland”.
