INNOVATEChina was first launched by CEIBS in 2008 and has built a 17-year legacy as one of the world's most influential business innovation competitions. Each year, approximately 60 teams from top-tier business schools across the globe gather to compete, connect, and engage in this intellectual feast.

In today's volatile yet opportunity-rich environment, INNOVATEChina provides a platform for aspiring and current student entrepreneurs to validate their business ideas. Participants gain direct feedback and sector-specific insights from globally renowned professors, industry leaders, and investors.

In 2025, CEIBS has partnered with Michelin to co-host the CEIBS INNOVATEChina × Michelin: Global Innovation Challenge. The competition invites top global talent (current master's and doctoral students) to help Michelin's authorized retail network (TyrePlus) build a sustainable innovation mechanism.

Focused on two core themes—business model innovation and customer experience innovation—the challenge encourages participating teams to select their own topics and propose innovative business solutions. The goal is to support TyrePlus in enhancing its global influence amid the era of new energy vehicles and digital transformation.
