In accordance with CEIBS regulations, the CEIBS Program Department will honour the three top students from each Global EMBA graduation class. Candidates for the CEIBS Global EMBA 2016 Outstanding Graduate Award are grouped by class and ranked by score in the list below. Candidates are selected by the vote of their classmates and considered on the basis of excellence in both moral and academic pursuits. The list is as follows:

August 25, 2018. Shanghai – Over the past two months, China Europe International Business School held its first ever summer camp for children of faculty and staff. A total of 81 children from 71 families participated in the four-week summer camp. On August 25, CEIBS Junior Summer Camp Closing Ceremony and the 3^rd CEIBS Junior Growth Day were held successfully at the CEIBS Shanghai campus.

CEIBS Professor of Finance and Accounting Oliver Rui is among the winners of the Best Papers Award at the 2018 World Finance Conference (WFC).

More than 100 companies with long-term partnerships with CEIBS hired graduates from the MBA Class of 2018, including ABInBev, ADB, Alibaba, Amazon, AstraZeneca, Baidu, Bain & Company, CFLD, Danaher, DuPont, EBON, Ford, HSBC, JD, Johnson & Johnson, Kraft Heinz, Lilly China, McKinsey & Company, Microsoft, Nomura, SAIF Partners, Siemens, Springs Capital, Tencent, vivo, Walmart, and 3M. Chinese enterprises, especially high technology companies, attracted 47% of MBA graduates.

July 30, 2018. Shanghai – CEIBS Professor Sheng Songcheng was among a group of newly-appointed counsellors of the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government who today received letters of appointments from Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shanghai Committee and the Mayor of Shanghai Ying Yong. To date, there are 30 counsellors, both accomplished scholars and seasoned experts in their fields, serving as the brain trust of the Government.

London – The opportunities for China and the UK to collaborate within the financial sector in today’s post-Brexit, fintech and big data focused environment were explored in depth today during a forum co-hosted by China’s leading international business school, CEIBS, and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in the UK. As is usually the case with any recent discussion on fintech, the issues of data security and privacy protection were also raised.
