MBA 2020 Student Ambassadors Inaugurated
September 26, 2018. Shanghai – The 30 student ambassadors who will represent the 175 members of the CEIBS MBA Class of 2020 were inaugurated today. They come from 16 countries and regions and will play an important role in promoting the CEIBS brand by organising events and providing information to prospective students.
Speaking during the inauguration ceremony, CEIBS Vice President and Co-Dean Professor Zhang Weijiong welcoming the 14th cohort of student ambassadors, highlighting that the ambassadors were selected for to their energy, potential, and sense of responsibility. “Through you, people will have a vivid impression of what CEIBS stands for,” he said.
President of the MBA 2019 student ambassadors Anson Zhu also shared his thoughts on the driving force behind the student ambassadors under his leadership. “We all came together because we were, and still are, motivated to create something different to help prospects to better understand CEIBS,” he said.
The group also elected a President and Vice President. After eleven candidates gave passionate campaign speeches, CEIBS Associate Dean and MBA Programme Director Professor Juan Antonio Fernandez announced Paul Walprecht from Germany as President and Sissi Chen from China as Vice President.
