100 students from the CEIBS Global EMBA (GEMBA) programme travelled from 20 countries worldwide to meet at the school’s Shanghai campus on April 18. This would be their final gathering as an active cohort, as the graduation ceremony officially welcomed them into the global community of over 34,000 CEIBS alumni.

The names of candidates for the CEIBS Global EMBA 2023 Outstanding Graduate Award are grouped and listed by class and student ID below. Candidates are nominated by their classmates and considered on the basis of excellence in both moral and academic pursuits.

January 17, 2026. Shanghai- The CEIBS Global EMBA (GEMBA) programme welcomed a capacity crowd of over 350 attendees to its signature event, China Economic Outlook, today. Hosted on CEIBS’ Shanghai campus, this forum gathered  professors, economists and global business leaders to map out the most meaningful trends likely to shape the Chinese economy in the coming year. The event was hosted by CEIBS Professor of International Business and Strategy and Associate Dean (Africa) Shameen Prashantham. 

Will we see more bridges built to connect China with the rest of the world? Or will more walls be raised to separate the two?

Meet the New Cohort of Global EMBA 2025

Now in its 30th year, the CEIBS Global EMBA welcomed the arrival of its 31st cohort. Made up of 97 business leaders drawn from all over the world to the school’s Shanghai Campus, they arrived ready and eager to begin their initial leadership module over the next eight days.

The CEIBS Global EMBA (GEMBA) programme has been ranked #2 in the world in the Financial Times 2025 Executive MBA Ranking, marking its sixth consecutive year among the global top two and its fourth consecutive year as the world’s highest-ranked stand-alone EMBA programme.
