Today marks China’s 42nd Teachers’ Day, a day to celebrate and honour educators everywhere. At this very moment, you may be in the classroom, engaging students from diverse countries and industries in conversations about the forces reshaping the business world. You may be working closely with companies and communities, exploring answers to the defining questions of our time through real-world practice. From generating knowledge to sharing ideas, from nurturing the next generation of leaders to contributing to the advancement of society, educators have always played a profound and enduring role in shaping our shared future. On this special occasion, we would like to extend our deepest respect and warmest wishes to all CEIBS faculty members, as well as to educators across China and around the world.

On August 31, China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) held the Opening Ceremony of the Global Master in Management (Global MiM) Class of 2026 — a pioneering double degree programme jointly launched with ESCP Business School — on its Shanghai campus, welcoming an inaugural cohort of 73 young talents from across the globe. Over the next two years, these students will study and live in four world-class business hubs: Shanghai, Paris, London and Zurich.

August 31, 2026. Shanghai – China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) and ETS China today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the CEIBS Shanghai campus, extending their partnership and renewing the CEIBS GRE Half Scholarship for a third term.

August 24, 2026. Shanghai – CEIBS welcomed its Full-time MBA Class of 2028 and the inaugural Part-time MBA Class of 2026 at a joint opening ceremony on its Shanghai campus today.

This year's Full-time MBA cohort brings together students from nearly 30 countries and regions worldwide, with international students accounting for more than 43% of the cohort. The inaugural Part-time MBA class, meanwhile, comprises experienced professionals from some of China's major economic hubs, including the Greater Bay Area, Beijing, Shanghai and beyond. 

Bringing the two cohorts together for the first time, the ceremony marked the beginning of a shared CEIBS journey shaped by diverse cultures, industries and professional experiences.

China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) officially welcomed Professor Léon Laulusa to its leadership team as Vice President and Dean today at an Installation Ceremony held on the school’s Shanghai campus.

In 2026, the global job market has been shaped by profound structural shifts. Ongoing geopolitical tensions continue to disrupt industries, while global economic growth remains in a fragile recovery. At the same time, the large-scale rollout of generative AI is fundamentally rewriting the value of job roles and reshaping the standards by which talent is assessed, making recruitment decisions more selective than ever.
Against this challenging backdrop, the CEIBS MBA Class of 2026 has remained resilient. Within three months of graduation, 91.9% of job-seeking graduates had secured at least one offer, with 88.7% accepting an offer. Ultimately, the offer acceptance rate climbed to 90.3% within four months, underscoring the enduring competitiveness of CEIBS graduates and their ability to create value in an increasingly uncertain business environment.

On June 29, 2026, CEIBS hosted the 9th CEIBS Accounting and Finance Symposium at its Shanghai campus, bringing together more than 80 scholars from leading universities across the United States, Europe, and Asia. The one-day event provided a vibrant platform for interdisciplinary exchange on the evolving landscape of finance, accounting, economics, and technology.

July 7, 2026. Shanghai — The 7th CEIBS Marketing Symposium was held at the Duan Yongping Academic Centre on the CEIBS Shanghai campus today, bringing together nearly 100 renowned scholars from leading global institutions to explore the latest frontiers in marketing research.
