The CEIBS Career Development Center (CDC) today hosted a special panel at our Shanghai campus on the theme of Thriving in Chinese Companies.

Focusing on satisfying employee demands towards their employers, and not the other way around, is the foundation of talent retention, a human resources expert said during a speech as part of a CEIBS Executive Forum this evening.

Earlier this month, the Harvard Case Library officially announced a new partnership with CEIBS. To date, the China-focused cases developed by CEIBS have made it into the three most renowned business case libraries in the world – the Harvard Case Library, Ivey Publishing and the Case Centre.

CEIBS’ Shanghai campus played host to nearly 150 guests this evening for a special CEIBS Executive Forum talk by Jan Craps, CEO and Executive Director Budweiser APAC & President APAC Zone AB InBev at Anheuser-Busch InBev, on the theme of Business through Digitalisation.

CEIBS’ Global EMBA programme has now placed fifth in the world – and first amongst independent (non-joint) programmes in Asia – for the second consecutive year with the release of the latest Financial Times global Executive MBA ranking today. This January, the school’s MBA programme was also ranked fifth by the Financial Times, further highlighting the strength and international influence of CEIBS in the field of management education.

Integrity, family values, cultural identity and corporate governance were some of the diverse themes discussed at the 2019 CEIBS Alumni Reunion Forum Master Class today, as some 300 alumni and guests gathered at CEIBS’ Shanghai campus to hear incisive presentations from three internationally renowned entrepreneurs who engaged in lively discussions with the audience.

More than 1,000 alumni, students, faculty, staff and other guests joined members of the CEIBS management committee, including CEIBS President Li Mingjun, President (European) Dipak Jain, Vice President and Dean Ding Yuan and Vice President and Co-Dean Zhang Weijiong, at our Shanghai campus today for the CEIBS 25^th Anniversary Celebration Gala.

Co-founded by the Chinese government and the European Union on November 8, 1994, CEIBS has grown into a world-renowned business school and a recognised role model of effective co-operation between China and the EU. For over a quarter of a century, CEIBS has evolved from introducing and interpreting classic management theory from the west, to shaping and sharing Chinese management expertise in an era of globalisation.

Nicolas Chapuis, Ambassador and Head of Delegation of the European Union to China, visited CEIBS today on occasion of the school’s 25th anniversary to congratulate the school on its achievements over the past quarter century.
