CEIBS MBA hosts Employer Appreciation Event
June 16, 2023. Shanghai – What are the cutting-edge advantages of CEIBS MBA graduates? Why do well-known leading companies continue to come to CEIBS year-after-year to recruit talents? And how does CEIBS MBA empower both employers and young talents?
The 2023 CEIBS MBA Employer Appreciation Event was held at our Shanghai campus today, with nearly 70 companies from a range of industries sharing their insightful perspectives about the CEIBS MBA programme and young MBA talents.

About CEIBS MBA young talents
GE Healthcare: Through our recruitment cooperation over the past years, we have been deeply impressed by CEIBS MBA talents as they excel in overall capabilities, logical thinking and innovative spirit when compared with peers from other business schools.
Grundfos: CEIBS MBA students not only possess a keen commercial sense, but also have solid business skillsets coupled with deep market insights. A couple of CEIBS MBA 2022 graduates joined our company last year, one as a Strategy Manager in the President’s Office, and the other as a Project Manager in our Danish headquarters. Both play very important roles in the company.
Alvarez & Marsal: As a management consulting firm, we have a fast-paced and diverse work environment. During the day, we are communicating with almost all levels of employees, and in the evening, we have meetings with our client’s executive directors and other senior executives. CEIBS MBA graduates are highly agile and flexible. They are pragmatic and able to get into roles very effectively.
What does a CEIBS MBA offer?
GE Healthcare: The CEIBS MBA programme broadens global vision for students, with various real-life case studies and working projects throughout the MBA journey that enhances and consolidates students’ capabilities to solve real problems in complicated business situations. GE Healthcare values these qualities from the young talents we hire.
Grundfos: China Depth, Global Breadth – the essence of the CEIBS MBA programme is exactly what we need from potential talents. Without global vision, it is impossible to effectively communicate with our global headquarters and overseas markets, and without exposure to local business in China, candidates are unable to successfully develop business in the domestic market. Grundfos sets high benchmarks for talent acquisition, and CEIBS also has an excellent MBA talent pool with a rigorous selection criteria.
Alvarez & Marsal: Through various down-to-earth modules, the CEIBS MBA programme offers us qualified candidates who fit our working environment well. As a global management consulting firm, we are happy that CEIBS MBA graduates can demonstrate their value right from day one. Prior to joining us, they have developed critical skillsets that we’re looking for, including structured thinking, industry analysis, etc. These key skillsets are important for the consulting industry, so all we need to do is put them on projects, and give them more opportunities to build up their working experiences.
Expectations towards future collaboration
GE Healthcare: In our company, CEIBS alumni occupy quite a few senior leadership roles. They have worked their way up from junior managers to senior executives in the company, and we’re looking forward to more success stories in the future.
Grundfos: As a global company with different regional coverage, in addition to recruiting talents from the China market, we expect to have more hiring opportunities in our EU headquarters soon. This means there will be more global career opportunities for international talents from the CEIBS MBA programme.
Alvarez & Marsal: What CEIBS provides is not only an excellent management and business education, but also a full, robust business ecosystem. It would be an honor for Alvarez & Marsal to be part of this ecosystem.
