Top three industries
Technology, financial services and healthcare maintained their places as the top three industries, attracting nearly 70% of this year’s CEIBS MBA graduates. Backed by extensive resources, a rigorous curriculum to hone leadership potential and a powerful alumni network, 75.8% of graduates were also successful in switching careers.
In terms of job function, nearly 30% landed general management roles, followed closely by marketing/sales (24.3%) and finance/accounting (23.2%). Also, more than 17% of graduates will begin their post-MBA careers on Leadership Development Programmes (LDP).

This year’s graduates will rejoin the workforce in more than ten countries and regions, with 84% concentrated in the Chinese mainland. Amongst international graduates (with varying levels of fluency in Mandarin), 25% landed opportunities in the Chinese mainland, with the remaining 75% continuing their careers in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America.

Empowered through resources
In order to support the proactive efforts made by this year’s graduates to seize opportunities, the CEIBS Career Development Center (CDC) provided nearly 1,000 summer internship and full-time job opportunities, with 270 recruiters posting 859 full-time positions. The rigorous 16-month programme is also designed to bring students closer to achieving their diverse career aspirations with initiatives such as the Integrated China Strategy Project (ICSP), international exchanges with 40+ top business schools, the visiting leader programme and comprehensive alumni mentorship.
