CEIBS Spanish Alumni Chapter Reunites in Barcelona for Empowering Workshop

April 2, 2022. Barcelona, Spain – CEIBS alumni from across Spain were reunited at the Front Maritim Hotel in Barcelona on April 1-2 for an innovative and animated workshop on Building High Performance Teams & Cultures.
The two-day workshop encouraged participants to focus on themselves and understand how to become a better person and leader by looking at their strengths, vision, challenges, awareness, and leadership.
The workshop was hosted by CEIBS Europe CEO, Dr. Robert Straw and Lisa Bevill, Director of the Center for Health, Well-Being and Happiness at IE in Barcelona, with alumni travelling in from Madrid, Valencia, and Majorca in participation.
For many participants, it was their first-time taking part in a face-to-face professional workshop in many years. The alumni in attendance said that they felt energised and motivated after spending valuable time with their peers and former classmates.
Over the two days, the group took part in a series of well-crafted exercises, discussions, team-building games, and mini workshops. Participants also learned a lot about themselves and how to develop high-performance teams and cultures in their organisations.
The workshop also offered to CEIBS alumni a chance to continue their learning after graduation.
“It has been a truly unforgettable and valuable experience for me, and it has led me to make some of my most important choices in my work and life”, one participant commented after the workshop.
“I felt so proud when I heard that one of our alumni has made some very important life decisions based on what he learned during the workshop. It was fantastic to see such enthusiasm and high levels of participation from our Spanish Alumni Chapter,” Dr. Straw said.
Looking ahead, the workshop series will continue its stops in Milan, Zurich, London, and Paris in the coming months. Check our events listings here for upcoming workshop dates or reach out to CEIBS Alumni & Partnerships Manager for Europe, Georgina Childs at cgeorgina@ceibs.edu for more information.
