September 29, 2019. Shanghai – A special ceremony was held today to congratulate CEIBS President Li Mingjun for being named a recipient of the National Commemorative Medal. Chen Hui, a Shanghai Municipality representative and Director of the Organisation and Personnel Division of the Shanghai Foreign Affairs Office, delivered the medal to CEIBS’ Shanghai campus. Ms. Helen Xu, Assistant President, Deputy Secretary of CPC Committee and Director of the Dean’s Office and Ms. Cynthia Liu, Assistant Director of President’s Office also participated in the award ceremony.

September 17, 2019. Shanghai – More than 60 scholars from around the world gathered at CEIBS today for a discussion on emerging markets during the 4^th CEIBS S&E Annual Symposium. In his opening speech, CEIBS Vice President and Co-Dean Prof. Weijiong Zhang stated that the symposium aims to serve as a platform for scholars to discuss, express their opinions and share their most recent research. He also emphasised that the symposium reflects a growing awareness about the importance of strategic innovation in emerging markets. CEIBS Associate Professor of International Business and Strategy Shameen Prashantham moderated the discussions.
