The 2020-2021 full-time job recruitment season for CEIBS MBAs officially kicks off today! Nearly 180 graduates with outstanding academic performance, cross-cultural leadership skills and international perspectives will start their post-MBA journey in April, 2021.

Over the past few months, the COVID-19 pandemic has engulfed the world, claiming the lives of hundreds of thousands of people and dealing a severe blow to the global economy and international order. CEIBS Vice President and Dean Ding Yuan this afternoon participated in the “AI Sustainable Development 2030” roundtable dialogue during a sub-forum as part of the 2020 World AI Conference Summit. Professor Ding also held in-depth discussions about AI-related subjects with other speakers and guests at the forum, which was hosted in Shanghai over three days from July 9 to 11.

Over 100 participants joined the 2020 CEIBS Female Leadership Forum today, which explored the theme of purposeful leadership. Going virtual for the first time, this year’s forum was attended by CEIBS Assistant Professor of Management Emily David, CEIBS MBA WLN President Shefali Pathak, and senior executives from multinational companies such as eBay, TOJOY, EATON, Hape Holdings AG and Traders of Africa. The forum was co-organised by the CEIBS MBA Women’s Leadership Network (WLN) and Global Women Connect.

The CEIBS Career Development Centre continued to deliver a series of sharing sessions in June. Following events in April and May which featured October CEO Thorsten Seegers (MBA 2007) and Navozyme founder Jitesh Jaipuriyars (MBA 2010), June’s guest speakers included an industry business leader, a recent MBA2020 graduate, and a CEIBS GEMBA alumnus.

June 16, 2020. Shanghai – In a report published in late-2019 in International Journal of Production Economics, Zhao Xiande, Professor of Operations & Supply Chain Management at CEIBS, was ranked either first or second in Asia according to multiple indicators regarding leadership in supply chain management (SCM) research. In addition, CEIBS was ranked between twelfth and nineteenth according to various indicators amongst leading institutions in SCM research in Asia, reflecting the school’s influence in this field.
 

A team consisting of CEIBS Professor Daniel Han Ming Chng, Xin (Cynthia) Pi, and Liman Zhao was today awarded the top prize in the category of Responsible Business in the 2019 EFMD Case Writing Competition.
