Former French PM Dominique de Villepin delivers the keynote address at the 2nd CEIBS CMO Summit in Shanghai

September 7, 2018. Shanghai – Former Prime Minister of France and faculty member at CEIBS Dominique de Villepin today told a group of Chinese academics that it is vital for Europe and China to work together to balance the “chaos” being caused by the policies of US President Donald Trump. He also warned that waiting for the US to revert to its pre-Trump approach on how it engages with China is a “big mistake” as America’s strategy of containing China’s rise has support beyond the current administration. 

French Prime Minister and CEIBS Distinguished Professor Dominique de Villepin has been inaugurated as the new Chairman of the CEIBS International Advisory Board (IAB). As IAB Chairman, Prof. de Villepin will lead a committee of international business leaders in the advising school leadership in its quest for “China Depth” and “Global Breadth”.

September 3, 2018. Shanghai – As part of the bilateral MBA exchange programme, CEIBS Shanghai campus today welcomed 82 inbound exchange students from 27 countries. The Inbound MBAs from 23 partner schools will join their CEIBS counterparts for the fall term of the full-time 18-month programme. At the same time, 76 CEIBS MBA students prepare to head in the opposite direction for outbound exchange semesters with 27 overseas schools including Wharton, INSEAD, and London Business School.

August 27, 2018. Shanghai – A group of CEIBS faculty recently got a closer look at JD’s unmanned warehouse in Shanghai’s Jiading district. The facility—covering 40,000 square meter and named ‘Asia No. 1’—is the largest and first fully unmanned warehouse in Asia. Mr. Pu Pujiang, the Director of JD’s ‘Asia No. 1’ Warehouse, welcomed the CEIBS group and lead a tour of the facility. The group was amazed at how robotic machinery sorted and dispatched deliveries.
