An audience of about 100 attendees including CEIBS students, faculty, staff and members of the Shanghai-based French business community was charmed today by former Prime Minister of France Jean-Pierre Raffarin during a lecture where the long-time friend of China and its people shared his insights on the topic “The French Approach to Leadership in Business and Politics”. His lecture is part of a series of events being held, this month, in his capacity as Charles de Gaulle Chair in Global Leadership as well as Distinguished Professor at CEIBS. Tomorrow he headlines a CEIBS Master Class that has generated significant interest.

June 30, 2018. Accra – President (European) of the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), Professor Pedro Nueno, today called on H.E. Mr. John Agyekum Kufuor, Former President of Ghana, at his residence in Accra’s Airport Residential area. Professor Nueno, who is on a three-day visit to Ghana from June 29 to July 1 is leading a delegation of 25 business executives from Spain. Referred to as the “Harvard Group”, they are in Accra to gauge the progress CEIBS has made since its establishment in Africa some 10 years ago, and also to meet with alumni and explore business opportunities.

Shanghai – The First Batch of 2018 CEIBS Case Master Development Camp was successfully held at the school's Shanghai campus on July 2-3, 2018, with sessions running simultaneously in English and Chinese. 140 faculty members from 94 business schools across China (including Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan), Canada, France, Hungary, India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and South Korea participated in the camp.

1st CEIBS Decision Sciences Symposium Held

Paris, France – The China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) and France-based Center of Prospective and Strategic Studies (CEPS) today jointly hosted a symposium that explored the timely issue of how to advance Sino-European relations. The venue was the prestigious Colbert Hall within the French National Assembly. Among the more than 200 Chinese and French scholars and entrepreneurs present were Prof. Jean-Pierre Raffarin, former Prime Minister of France and Charles de Gaulle Chair in Global Leadership at CEIBS; Jean-Michel Mis, Deputy in the French National Assembly; Ding Yuan, Vice President and Dean of CEIBS; Dr. Emmanuel Dupuy, President of the Institute for European Perspective & Security Studies (IPSE); Loïc Tribot La Spière, Director General of CEPS; and François Quentin, President of Huawei France.

June 13, 2018. Paris, France – Ding Yuan, Vice President and Dean of the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), and Jacques Godfrain, President of the Charles de Gaulle Foundation (FCG), today signed an Agreement between both sides to establish the Charles de Gaulle Chair in Global Leadership.
