June 8, 2018. Shanghai – The CEIBS Alumni International Chapter (CAIC) is once again partnering with China Connect, the largest European annual gathering of experts on Chinese consumer trends and digital marketing that is helping international marketing decision makers get an informed view about China. Organised for eight years in a row in Paris, China Connect is preparing its second Shanghai edition, scheduled for June 15.

As part of ongoing efforts to amplify CEIBS alumni’s voice within and beyond the Shanghai-based international expat business community, CAIC co-sponsored last year’s China Connect. Frederic Guiral de Haas (CEIBS EMBA 2002, see picture above), former CEO of Jack Wolfskin, was also a keynote speaker. This year, CAIC continues to deepen its engagement in this event with not only on-the-stage China insights sharing from an MBA 2018 alumnus but also logistical support delivered by 10 volunteers actively mobilised by CAIC behind the scenes.

Themed “From Within”, the event will provide an insightful gathering for marketing professionals committed to, and seeking, effective engagement with China’s tech savvy consumers in a unique and fast changing environment. About 30 CEIBS alumni are expected to be in the audience. Senior CEIBS alumni/students representing brands may contact the CAIC’s Cedric Devroye (GEMBA 2015) for free tickets. Please note that there is a limited number of free tickets so they will be issued on a first come first served basis.
