January 28, 2021. Shanghai – The launch ceremony for the CEIBS-Shui On Global Branding Strategy & Fashion Industry Research Fund was held at CEIBS Shanghai campus today. The fund was co-initiated by CEIBS and Shui On Management (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (Shui On) to serve as a source of insight into the Chinese market for foreign luxury brands and a platform for Chinese brands to interact with international peers and to provide support for global researchers in the area of brand strategy and the fashion industry worldwide. Shui On also donated 3 million RMB to the CEIBS Education Foundation to support academic research and relevant activities related to the CEIBS-Shui On Global Branding Strategy & Fashion Industry Research Fund.

A new year begins. Throughout the seasons, the Presidents’ quarterly letter has brought us together. Of all the letters, the annual New Year’s message is undoubtedly the most anticipated. A challenging and bizarre year delivered a colourful myriad of stories from the CEIBS community around the globe.

The CEIBS today welcomed EU Ambassador to China Nicolas Chapuis for the Beijing New Year’s Forum at the National Centre for the Performing Arts.

The first 40 China-focused cases developed and selected by CEIBS have officially gone live on the Harvard Business Publishing - Education, and 27 of them are cutting edge cases developed during the last two years. The first batch represents the latest progress in the long-term cooperative partnership between CEIBS and Harvard Business Publishing - Education agreed in November 2019. In the future, more China-focused cases will enter Harvard Business Publishing - Education and make their way into the classrooms of international business schools. These cases have been developed, selected, and modified using strict criteria in line with the expectations of international readers.

The CEIBS Insights 2020 Europe Forums wrapped up today, with more than 3,000 participants streaming the series online.

When searching for innovative solutions, large corporations shouldn’t be complacent when considering potential start-up partners, Professor of International Business and Strategy Shameen Prashantham told an audience of executives today in Shanghai.

CEIBS and Ivey Business School today signed a Memorandum of Understanding to include Ivey Publishing's China-relevant cases in Chinese in the Global Platform of China Cases (ChinaCases.Org), a case library initiated and operated by CEIBS and financially supported by the Shanghai government. This collaboration aims to promote and support case-method teaching in schools and institutions in Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, through enhanced site license services. The inclusion of Ivey's Chinese cases will deliver a strong boost to ChinaCases.Org in terms of quantity and quality. As the most influential China case library globally, the combined collection will soon reach more than 2,500 high-quality cases in total.
