CEIBS MBA Class of 2026 Inauguration Ceremony for Student Ambassadors

 October 10, 2024. Shanghai - The Inauguration Ceremony for the Student Ambassadors of the MBA Class of 2026 at China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) was held at its Shanghai campus today. During the ceremony, 30 outstanding Student Ambassadors took their oaths. These ambassadors come from seven countries and regions, spanning 16 different industries.

Michelle Zhu,  MBA Programme Administration Director, attended the event and delivered the opening speech. She warmly congratulated the student ambassadors and shared insights into the development journey of the CEIBS MBA programme, highlighting the advantages of pursuing a full-time MBA. She then elaborated on the responsibilities and importance of the student ambassadors, presenting new expectations and suggestions for the incoming ambassadors and encouraging them to continue contributing to the school's development.

MBA Student Ambassadors are elected representatives responsible for providing information to prospective applicants, maintaining communication with international candidates, and enhancing the school's image and recognition. Five candidates participated in the recent election for the Student Ambassador President and Vice President positions. After a close competition, Estelle Xu from China won with her humorous and engaging speech, becoming the new President of the Student Ambassadors. Napat Suphitukwong from Thailand was also elected as the Vice President following his outstanding speech.

As the ceremony drew to a close, Chayapol Vanichsavasdvichai and Huang Wei, President and Vice President of the Student Ambassadors of the MBA Class of 2026, stood side by side to hand over the flag to their successors. This moment not only marked the official passing of the torch to the new team of Student Ambassadors, but also symbolised their commitment to upholding the spirit of innovation and fulfilling their ambassadorial duties to attract more talented individuals to their institution.
