CEIBS Global EMBA Annual Alumni Community Appreciation - 2023

Dear Global EMBA alumni,
The Year of the Dragon is here, making it the perfect time to reflect on the past 12 months and plan ahead for the coming year. With the "COVID Chapter" finally closed, we can all look forward to 2024 providing all manner of uninterrupted learning, travelling, and sharing opportunities that we certainly won't take for granted!
Before launching into the new year, we would like to take a moment to acknowledge the pivotal role played by you, the GEMBA alumni community, during these unprecedentedly difficult and disruptive times. As always, you continue to be our ambassadors, advocates, cheerleaders, standard bearers and supporters. You galvanise members across the CEIBS community to give their best, while tirelessly helping the GEMBA programme to remain in the best shape possible by organising company visits, leading sharing sessions, supporting the interviewing process, referring candidates and innumerable other contributions big and small.
For this, for everything you have done in 2023 and will do in 2024, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
For hard evidence that CEIBS and its GEMBA programme have stayed in tip-top shape in 2023, look no further than the Financial Times Global EMBA list, where we have retained our #2 ranking for an incredible fourth consecutive year. Every alum reading this should take the result as a source of personal pride, as the rankings are greatly influenced by the ongoing efforts and achievements of past GEMBA classes as well as currently sitting cohorts.

Not only have we retained our standing in the global business education world, the GEMBA programme continues to attract top-tier talent from around the world to produce increasingly strong, diverse and dynamic new classes. The latest intake is another one for the record books, as it has the highest seniority to date, with the broadest composition of participants' industries, sectors and job roles. Once again, bringing together such a crop of global talent could only be done with the help of our alumni, who are an invaluable aid to the recruitment and interviewing process.

In 2023, we were also able to recommence with our global modules, successfully delivering our commitment to learning journeys across the world. The significance of this cannot be overstated, as our students were once again able to enjoy their studies in a variety of locations such as Switzerland, Italy, Indonesia, Singapore, Ghana, Japan, and South Korea.
Our alumni clubs have been in full swing over the last year, successfully growing our lifelong learning platform even further. In addition to this, with the welcoming of our most recent cohort at the end of 2023, the GEMBA Circle was launched- which will integrate all of these clubs and take our extracurricular activities to the next level!
As we look ahead to 2024 and anticipate all the great things we can achieve together as a community, please take a moment to reflect on everything you have done to get to this point in your careers, personal lives, and learning journeys. The strength of the CEIBS education model is the interpersonal bonds of the people inhabiting our programmes and communities. Together, we achieve more. However, it's equally important to remember that together, our achievements mean more.
Thank you all once again, for everything. We wish you a very happy Year of the Dragon.
