January 26, 2019. Zurich, Switzerland — The CEIBS Europe Alumni network went from strength to strength in 2018, and 2019 is set to be just as exciting!

Today the leaders of all CEIBS Alumni European Chapters gathered in Zurich for the second annual Chapter Head meeting, working together on their overall strategy and setting priorities for the year ahead.

Joining the meeting this year were:
* Frederik Cornu (EMBA06) and Thomas Morlot (GEMBA13), from France;
* Johannes Muffler (MBA08) and Yuen-Ling Lok (MBA09), from Germany;
* Juan Ferrer (MBA12) and Albert Valero (MBA14), from Spain;
* Urs Casagrande (MBA17) and Ariuscha Davitz (GEMBA16), from Switzerland;
* Sharon Cheng (EMBA05) and Ling Zhang (EMBA08), from the UK;
* from CEIBS Europe’s only student/alumni club The GAA, Rolf Kessler (GSBA05); and
* joining via Skype, CAIC representatives Cedric Devroye (GEMBA15) and Tina Walendy (AFEMBA15) as well as Michele Comacchio (GEMBA12).

High on the list of discussion points was CEIBS international alumni’s relationship with domestic chapters and how this can be strengthened, benefiting both sides. Another productive discussion centred on the topic of the Europe Alumni Reunion which will be hosted in Paris on October 4-6. As with last year’s event, the theme will be innovation; but the focus this year will be on exploring the high-end, luxury sector that Paris is renowned for.

The group also discussed other upcoming events such as the 1+1 event series, recommendations for iAlumni (the CEIBS alumni app) and how to unite more effectively as one European entity.

Chapters shared their highlights, challenges and priorities for 2019 and exchanged best practices.
