Over the recent months, unexpectedly and very suddenly, everyone had to adjust to a new world; new ways of working, new social norms and new ways of interacting. We have all taken a moment to stand still, with travel restrictions and lockdowns preventing normal demanding schedules, reconnecting with family as well as friends, colleagues & peers in far away places through the power of technology.
Now, more than ever before, is a time to celebrate and embrace friendships all over the world and with that in mind, you are invited to the first CEIBS Global Alumni Reunion from the comfort of your own home! Prof. Dipak Jain

Professor of Marketing, CEIBS
Dr. Dipak Chand Jain is the European President and Professor of Marketing at CEIBS. He is a globally recognized marketing and innovation expert whose insights have inspired a generation of business leaders to pursue success with significance. Dr. Jain’s influential career spans nearly four decades as an educator, a senior business school administrator, and a consultant to corporations and governments. Throughout his career, he had furthered a pedagogical model that combines academic excellence and business relevance to produce high-impact results with social significance.
An award-winning scholar in his own right, Dr. Jain’s areas of research expertise include the marketing of high-tech products; market segmentation and competitive market structure analysis; cross-cultural issues in global product diffusion; new product innovation; and forecasting models. He has published more than 60 articles in leading academic journals and has earned the prestigious John D.C. Little Best Paper Award. Among the many distinctions for his teaching and service, Dr. Jain received the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas from the Prime Minister of India, an award that recognizes exceptional leadership contributions of overseas Indians.
Prof. Yuan Ding

Dr. Yuan Ding is Vice President and Dean, Cathay Capital Chair Professor in Accounting at CEIBS. Prior to joining CEIBS, he was a tenured faculty member of HEC School of Management, Paris, France. He is member of European Accounting Association, French Accounting Association and American Accounting Association. Dr. Ding has acted as editor and editorial board member for many international academic journals in accounting and auditing. He received the CEIBS Teaching Excellence Award in 2005, 2007, and 2013. In 2008 and 2009, he was elected by EMBA graduates as one of the most admired CEIBS professors.
Prof. Lydia Price
Professor of Marketing, CEIBS
Lydia J. Price is Professor of Marketing at CEIBS. From 2006-2012 she was Associate Dean and Director of the CEIBS MBA Programme. Under her leadership the programme deepened its international focus and stature as well as its China expertise, rising steadily in major business school rankings as a consequence. In 2009 she implemented a major curriculum change that strengthened the programme's commitment to Responsible Leadership and Sustainability, including an innovative mandatory course in which students complete sustainability field projects in the China context. Several of these student projects have earned global awards and accolades from the corporate and academic communities.
Dr. Robert Straw

Dr. Robert Straw is CEO of CEIBS Zurich campus. Before joining CEIBS, Robert was Head of Talent Management, Leadership and Organizational Development Europe at Oerlikon AG. Prior to joining Oerlikon, he was Director of Education at the Swiss Finance Institute. He has also previously served as Head of Strategy + Operations Consulting at KPMG and worked for 7 years at Credit Suisse in private banking. Robert has also been Professor of Finance at several universities and regularly teaches on the topics of leadership and financial leadership at corporate universities and university executive programmes.
Prof. Vivian Guo
Assistant Professor of Strategy, CEIBS
Prof. Wei Guo is Assistant Professor of Strategy at CEIBS. Prior to joining CEIBS, she was Assistant Professor of Strategy at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Dr. Guo received her Ph.D. degree in strategic management from University of Maryland and M.B.A from Marshall University.
With a focus on the behavioral foundation of strategy, Dr. Guo’s research interests mostly concentrate on two related facets, including strategic communication and competitive strategy. Her paper has been published at leading management journals such as the Academy of Management Journal. One of her paper won the Distinguished Student Paper Award at the Business Policy and Strategy Division of the Academy of Management (AOM). Besides, her dissertation won the Best Ph.D. Paper Award at the Strategic Management Society (SMS) Annual Conference.

Jürgen received a Bachelor Degree in business administration from FH Ludwigshafen, Germany and EMBA from CEIBS. In 1991, after his graduation he moved to China where he worked for several German SME’s as Sales- and General Manager (Henkel, Weinig AG, Schwing GmbH, Pfannenberg). After 27 years living and working in China he moved back with his Chinese wife and kids to his German hometown where he started a consultancy business advising mostly German SMEs with market-entry strategies as well as sales and marketing challenges in China. Jürgen speaks fluent Chinese and travels frequently between Germany and China. Jürgen has a passion for team coaching.

Allen Tang is MD & VP of IntSig Information Co., Ltd. He got EMBA from CEIBS and Bachelor Degree of Industry Automatic from TongJi University. Worked 15 years in General Electric Company, Allen has abundant experience on supply chain management, NPI development, technology commercialization and cross-culture working background.
In 2010, He took position as VP of GE licensing, responsible for technology investment and licensing in Asia. In 2012, He was COO of GE Consumer Electronic Business, responsible operation excellence and growth for GE consumer business. In 2015, Allen joined board of Intsig Information Technology Inc. In 2016, He joined JD Finance, founded Dongjia platform, an internet wealth management platform. By 2019, he was responsible for wealth management business of 250B and as a Senior Executive for JD Finance. In 2020, Allen join Intsig company as Executive Director for strategy growth.
Mr. Carl Amanor Sackey

Carl Amanor Sackey has over 20 years of IT experience, both at the technical and managerial levels. He is Deputy General Manager at Ghana Community Network Services Limited (GCNet). His role is to lead in the promotion of GCNet services and development of new concepts, products, developments and architectures and rollouts of these e-solutions for GCNet, the Ghana Revenue Authority and other stakeholders such as the Bank of Ghana.
Carl is responsible for the Surveillance System used by Ghana in the monitoring of COVID-19 (entire value chain from contact tracing to lab). He is serving his second 2-year term as President of ISACA Accra Chapter, the global professional body for IT Auditors and information security professionals.
Ms. Viola Chen

Born in 1977, Viola has a master's degree in Business Administration from China Europe International Business School, international accountant (ACCA) and Singapore certified public accountant (CPA). She is now the CEO and Director of the eighth board of the company.
Viola once served as the Financial Director of icon PLC. Asia Pacific region, a NASDAQ listed company. Since 2011, she has served as Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of EPS Holdings Inc., a listed company on Tokyo Stock Exchange in Japan. She has more than 20 years of experience in operation and management, financial management, internal control audit, tax planning, investment decision-making and enterprise merger and acquisition of multinational companies.
Mr. Olivier Brault

General Manager Asia pacific, SOPREMA Group
Olivier is a professional General Manager and investor with 20 year experience in starting and managing global enterprises. He currently runs the operations in Asia Pacific for Soprema, a century-old construction materials French group. Oliviet started his career in medical device industry, manufacturing diagnostic tests for infectious diseases. Passing through Italy, he then finally relocated to Shanghai to follow the company’s expansion plans in China.
With now more than 15 years’ experience managing foreign investments in China, Olivier also is a director of the Canadian chamber of commerce in China, and is currently enrolled in CEIBS GEMBA program. Having lived in China for many years Olivier is happily married with an 8-year old young boy, and his commitment to his adoption country led him to obtain an honorary citizenship of Changzhou city in Jiangsu province.
