Katherine Rong Xin is Professor of Organisational Behaviour, Bayer Chair in Leadership, Associate Dean (Europe), and Director of HEMBA, DBA and CCEMBA Programmes at China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). She holds a PhD from the University of California and was previously on the faculty of the University of Southern California, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland.

Prof. Xin specialises in the areas of leadership, organisational culture, organisational transformation, and strategic human resource management. She is currently focusing on research in high performance leadership and key success factors of organisational transformation in the digital era. In addition to her research and teaching, she is a consultant and workshop leader, and has undertaken assignments for multinational firms such as Alcatel, Alibaba, Allianz, Baosteel, BASF, Baxter, BMW, Bosch, CATL, China Mobile, China Steel, China Telecom, Daimler Benz, Ford Motor Company, Fluor Daniel, Interbrew, Inventec, Johnson & Johnson, Merck, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Qualcomm, San Miguel, Sony, Toyota, TSMC and government agencies in the US, Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland.
