Panelists:
Hellmut Schütte
Distinguished Professor of International Management, Dean and Vice President at CEIBS. Prof. Schutte is a well known speaker at conferences and business events, regular contributor to the World Economic Forum in Davos and other venues around the world, and he is actively involved in various executive programmes, board and advisory roles and consulting assignments. Among his roles, he is an Executive Director and Partner of BAF Spectrum, a business angel firm that invests in young enterprises.
Fabrizio Zilibotti
Professor of Macroeconomics and Political Economy at the University of Zurich and Scientific Director and Deputy Director of the UBS International Center of Economics in Society. His research focuses on macroeconomics, economic growth and development, and the Chinese economy. He is the recipient of the Yrjö Jahnsson 2009 Medal as the best economist in Europe under the age of 45, and of the Sun Yefang Award 2012 from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
Kurt Haerri
Head Global Marketing & Sales of the Schindler Group since 2013. Mechanical Engineer and holder of an Executive MBA HSG. Joined Schindler Switzerland in 1987 and worked for Schindler in China from 1996 to 2003 where he was leading the New Installation Business. From 2009 to 2013 he was Managing Director of the Top Range Division, the global competence- and profit centre for Schindler’s High Rise Elevator Business.
From 2006 to 2013 Kurt Haerri was the President of the Swiss-Chinese Chamber of Commerce. Since 2012, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Komax Holding, a High Tech company listed at the Zurich stock exchange. He is as well Head of the Asia Module of an Executive MBA programme at ETH Zürich.
Peter Hediger
Former Senior Analyst for defense and security policy issues of China and of the Asia Pacific region in the Department of Defense, Protection of Population, and Sports (Swiss Ministry of Defense). Officer in the Swiss Army with peacekeeping missions with the Swiss Delegation to the Neutral Nations Supervisory Commission for the Armistice in Korea at Panmunjom (1982-1983). Swiss Defense Attaché in China and later in Japan with side accreditations to D.P.R.K., Mongolia, Singapore, and R.O.K., Indonesia, and Thailand respectively (1999-2008).

Alain Robert
Alain Robert is Vice Chairman for the UBS Wealth Management. He has been with the bank for 30 years in various functions and business divisions, including a 7 year assignment in Canada. In 2001, he joined the Group Managing Board as Head of Retail Banking. In 2003, he became Head of Wealth Management Switzerland. His responsibilities expanded in 2005 when he was chosen to lead the global Key Client initiative. In 2007, Alain Robert became Head of Wealth Management and Business Banking, which covered all universal banking activities of UBS in Switzerland.
Among his current activities, Alain Robert is Member of the Foundation Board of the UBS Pension Fund in Switzerland, President of the UBS Cultural Foundation, President of the UBS Social and Education Foundation and Chairman of the Board of UBS Italy and UBS France.
