Trade between Asia and South America has flourished in recent years and many Chinese companies have tried to get access to the Latin American Market. However, because of the distance, as well as the language and culture barrier, many companies still lack a profound understanding of the local market. To help them get a better understanding of the Latin American business environment and be able to assess the risks associated with related investments, CEIBS Alumni International Trade and Property Rights Associations has invited lawyers from 5 Latin American Countries to discuss investment opportunities with you.
Topics discussed will involve:
- Introduction to the respective countries business situation, including important laws and practical experiences
- How foreign companies can protect their legal rights when trading with Latin America
- How to asses risks and avoid disputes when expanding business to Latin America
