For the fourth year in a row, CEIBS has been named #2 in the world in the Financial Times’ global ranking of Executive MBA programmes. This means that the school’s Global EMBA (GEMBA) programme has maintained its position as the top ranked EMBA programme in the world to be taught at a standalone school and the number one EMBA programme on the Chinese mainland.

The CEIBS (Switzerland) Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programme, a doctoral programme of applied business research that combines rigorous academic education with extensive business practice, has welcomed its latest cohort for an official opening ceremony at our Shanghai campus.

On Sunday 24th September, around 130 alumni arrived at the CEIBS Shanghai Campus for the long-awaited Global EMBA Alumni Reunion, made up of no fewer than 25 class cohorts.

The CEIBS International Summit on Social Security and Aging Finance was successfully held at the school’s Shanghai campus recently, with numerous distinguished speakers and experts in the field invited to participate under the theme of “Global Perspective and the Chinese Approach: Sustainable Development of China’s Unique Social Security System.”

In a volatile world and an evolving business education landscape in which China plays an ever larger part, business schools are facing a rapidly changing environment that requires new approaches and new ways of thinking.

On September 5, the “Case Method Forum and Awards Ceremony 2023” was co-hosted by CEIBS and The Case Centre at the CEIBS Shanghai Campus. During the event, Vicky Lester, CEO of The Case Centre, awarded trophies to the two CEIBS case-writing teams that were named winners of The Case Centre Awards and Competitions 2023. She also engaged in a lively discussion on emerging trends in case development and teaching in business schools with nearly one hundred guests in attendance, including leaders and faculty members from more than 40 colleges across the country.

In response to China’s dual carbon targets and green energy efforts, CEIBS launched comprehensive carbon neutrality endeavors in 2023 after conducting greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories in both 2019 and 2021.
