On December 4-5, 2023, Shanghai - CEIBS Case Center held the second batch of 2023 Case Master Development Camp, with two classes running in Chinese and English respectively. A total of 135 teachers from 85 universities and institutions at home and abroad, including China Hong Kong and Macao SARs, the United Kingdom and India, participated in the camp.

Managing and retaining global talent is essential to reinvigorating the Chinese economy and maintaining companies’ competitive edge following the COVID-19 pandemic, according to CEIBS President (European) Dominique Turpin at the Pudong International Talent Hub Forum 2023 today.

The arrival of December brings the end of the calendar year, but the beginning of a new Global EMBA cohort’s journey, as the class of 2023 arrived for their official opening ceremony and welcome banquet at the CEIBS Shanghai campus.

Joining the new class of GEMBA 2023 for their special night were six of CEIBS’ top leadership figures, multiple faculty members, and around 60 alumni, spanning GEMBA cohorts spread over the past 20 years, from 2022 right the way back to 2002.

As of November 2023, more than 100 CEIBS cases have been published on Harvard Business Publishing – Education (Harvard Case Library), with 37,000 case copies used in the past three years. Focusing on business management issues in a Chinese context, these cases cover various disciplines, industries and topics, showcasing Chinese perspectives, solutions, and insights. After thorough evaluation and selection by ChinaCases.Org, these cases underwent further revisions, translations, and copy-editing for international audiences. This collection of cases is accessible on multiple platforms, including Harvard Case Library, Ivey Publishing, The Case Centre, and ChinaCases.Org.

As of November 2023,As of November 2023, Harvard Business Publishing – Education (Harvard Case Library) has published over 100 cases from CEIBS. Notably, eight of these cases have achieved bestseller status. This success stems from the collaboration initiated between CEIBS and the Harvard Case Library in 2019, with the first series of CEIBS cases debuting in December 2020. Impressively, in under three years, these eight cases have not only made it to the bestseller list but have also seen a combined usage of 19,000 copies. This milestone highlights the widespread recognition and interest in CEIBS cases from the global management community.
