June 20, 2019. Beijing – Following on the success of the event at CEIBS Shanghai Campus, a second CEIBS Insights 2019 Executive Reception was hosted today in Beijing on the theme of “China and the World: New Era and New Impetus”.

Do Purpose and Profits Ride in Tandem?

The world population is ageing fast. According to the most recent population report from the United Nations, the population aged 60 and above will reach 2.1 billion by 2050, and China will have a median age of 48, with 35% of the population aged 60 and over. Faced with unprecedented and challenges arising from ageing societies worldwide, the pressing need for investment and longevity solutions looms large. So, how can we address the ageing population’s calls for better solutions to declining retirement provision, together with strategies for housing and caring for the older segments of the population?

Building Brands by Embracing the Trends

As part of the on-going 2019 CEIBS Executive Forum series, CEIBS today welcomed Bosch China Executive Vice President Mrs. Rosa Lee to our Shanghai campus for an exclusive lecture and Q&A on Shaping the Organisation of the Future with the Digitalisation and Innovation of HR.

Co-organised by CEIBS and Shanghai Jing’an District Government, the 11^th Prestige Brands Forum 2019 was hosted today at CEIBS Shanghai Campus. On the theme of The Chinese Market and Companies in Transformation: Building Brands by Embracing the Trends.

Representatives from more than a dozen European consulates in Shanghai along with top executives from numerous multi-national corporations were today welcomed to our Shanghai Campus for a special CEIBS Insights Executive Reception that included a keynote speech by Former Prime Minister of France and CEIBS Distinguished Professor Dominique de Villepin. The event, part of the on-going CEIBS 25^th Anniversary Celebration, was held under the theme of China and the World: New Era and New Impetus.

May 21, 2019. Shanghai – “A professor cannot visit every institution in the world, but our case can.” Those were the words delivered by CEIBS President (European) Professor Dipak Jain today during a special ceremony authorising two new cases developed by CEIBS with the support of the CNIC Co. Ltd. The event was attended by more than twenty CEIBS colleagues and fifty executives from CNIC – a state-owned investment company established to facilitate the internationalisation of Chinese enterprises – as well as their subsidiary companies and corporate partners.
