CEIBS Global EMBA Travel Grant

To better accommodate successful applicants travelling internationally in a post- pandemic world, a travel grant will be offered for those who are residing outside of China. To check to see if you are eligible, please contact the CEIBS Global EMBA Admissions Office.

CEIBS Global EMBA Scholarships

CEIBS offers scholarships to successful Global EMBA applicants to further enhance the programme's diversity, international business prowess and leadership potential. A certain percentage reduction in tuition fees will be offered to self-sponsored candidates who can cite excellent career growth as well as strong leadership capabilities. Financial need will also be considered in the review process. 

Recipients of the awards are expected to act as ambassadors for CEIBS within their own sectors and regions, to further promote the inclusivity of the school and attract similarly outstanding candidates to the Global EMBA programme.

The scholarships available for Global EMBA applicants are as follows:

• Global EMBA International Impact Scholarship
  This scholarship recognises outstanding candidates with multicultural backgrounds, particularly those who have demonstrated success in leading diverse teams and managing cross-border initiatives. It also supports professionals from Chinese companies expanding internationally, fostering global leadership and cross-cultural collaboration.
  
  Preferred candidates may include:
  • Executives with experience working across multiple markets or managing multicultural teams.
  • Leaders driving international growth for Chinese companies, navigating global business challenges.
  • Professionals with a proven ability to bridge cultural gaps and deliver impact in diverse environments.

• Global EMBA Women Leadership Scholarship
  This scholarship celebrates outstanding female leaders who have excelled in management, broken barriers, and paved the way for future generations of women in business.
  
  Preferred candidates may include:
  • Senior executives with a track record of leadership in male-dominated industries.
  • Women driving organisational transformation, diversity, or mentorship initiatives.
  • Rising leaders who demonstrate vision, resilience, and the potential to inspire others.

• Global EMBA Entrepreneur Scholarship
  This scholarship supports visionary entrepreneurs who have successfully launched and scaled their own ventures, showcasing innovation and business acumen.
  
  Preferred candidates may include:
  • Founders or co-founders of high-growth startups with measurable success.
  • Business owners who have overcome challenges and demonstrated resilience.
  • Innovators disrupting industries with scalable and impactful solutions.

• Global EMBA Corporate Social Responsibility Scholarship
  This scholarship recognises applicants who drive meaningful social impact and demonstrate a commitment to the public good through leadership, innovation, or sustainable business practices.
  
  Preferred candidates may include:
  • Leaders who have spearheaded CSR initiatives, social enterprises, or sustainability projects.
  • Professionals integrating ethical and responsible practices into business strategy.
  • Individuals with a proven ability to create positive societal change through their work.

• Global EMBA African Scholarship
  This scholarship empowers African citizens residing in Africa who are driving innovation and leadership within the continent’s rapidly evolving economic landscape.
  
  Preferred candidates may include:
  • Visionary leaders shaping industries such as technology, finance, healthcare, or sustainable development.
  • Professionals demonstrating exceptional impact in overcoming regional challenges or fostering growth.
  • High-potential executives committed to advancing Africa’s global business competitiveness.
  Eligibility: Open to African citizens currently living and working in Africa.

How to apply
Please complete the CEIBS Global EMBA Scholarship Application. This must be submitted before the application deadline and should accompany your programme application to CEIBS Global EMBA Admissions. To submit the Scholarship Application, please email it to the CEIBS Global EMBA Admissions Office at: gemba@ceibs.edu. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

CEIBS Global EMBA works with banks and financial institutes both in China and globally to provide loan plans to help our participants.

International applicants

For international applicants, you can apply for a loan from Prodigy Finance. Prodigy Finance's innovative lending model offers community-funded loans to international students at the world's top business schools, including CEIBS. While banks base their loan decisions on historical salaries, Prodigy looks to the future. They assess applicants' future earning potential (based on the past achievements of similar graduates) to determine loan affordability.

Chinese applicants
