Dr. Huang Sheng is Professor of Finance, Associate Dean, Director of the EMBA Programme, PhD supervisor, Director of the CEIBS Research Centre for Corporate and Capital Markets, and Programme Director of the Corporate Capital Management Programme at CEIBS. He received his PhD in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis, MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge, and BA in History and Economics from Peking University. Prior to joining CEIBS, Dr. Huang was Assistant Professor of Finance at Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University.

Dr. Huang’s research focuses primarily on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, financial intermediation, investment, fintech, and corporate digital transformation. His papers have been published in leading academic journals, including Review of Financial Studies, Management Science, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Contemporary Accounting Research, and Journal of Financial Intermediation.
