Now more than ever, leaders around the globe are facing uncertainty. The business environment in China is changing, with economic development slowing and global tensions rising. It is therefore essential for any global business leader to keep developing while also stepping back and reflecting on how their responsible leadership can enable them to act with more clarity and steer their organisation through complex times.

The Rising Leaders Programme, recently hosted on our Shanghai campus by the CEIBS Global EMBA programme, was designed to take business leaders through the current outlook and priorities that are shaping the global and Chinese economies while sharpening their leadership abilities. With help from CEIBS’ world-class professors, participants gained an understanding of future sources of growth, learned essential aspects of negotiation, and explored strategic considerations inspired by relevant business cases, through a combination of lectures, group exercises and peer sharing based on real business cases from China and the world. The programme was designed to allow seasoned leaders to cultivate their core business capabilities and leadership.
