Take a look at the highlights from the official launch ceremony and space inauguration of the CEIBS MBA InnoLab, held at our Shanghai Campus on 24 August 2026.

Marking the transition of CEIBS MBA innovation and entrepreneurship education from the classroom into a dynamic incubator and physical space, the new CEIBS InnoLab provides a collaborative hub dedicated to turning ambitious ideas into reality.

Event Highlights:

• Opening Remarks from School Leadership: CEIBS President Wang Hong outlined InnoLab’s strategic vision across three dimensions—Innovation, Internationalisation, and Impact. CEIBS Co-President (European) Frank Bournois unpacked the four pillars of the InnoLab: LABoratory, colLABoration, LABour, and eLABoration.

• A Creative Launch Installation: School leaders, faculty, and alumni launched the space by placing miniature LEGO® figures onto a bespoke 39,000-brick installation created by LEGO® Certified Professional Prince Jiang, symbolising community-driven creativity built piece by piece.

• Space Tour: Guided by space designer alumnus Fu Qiang, guests explored the five functional zones designed for connection, incubation, and co-creation: the Innovation Gallery, Roadshow Area, Salon Area, Meditation Pod, and Student Lounge.
