We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the alumni who have supported us in 2019 and the beginning of 2020. Our Global EMBA alumni have shown strong support and active engagement with the school and the programme throughout the past year. More than 200 alumni have been actively involved in programme support, branding, and applicant referral, as well as admission interviews. They have devoted huge amounts of their valuable time and energy to help the Global EMBA community further. 

Livestreamed for the very first time in its history, INNOVATEChina 2020 was held today as MBA teams from around the world gathered online to compete for the $10,000 annual prize.

The first job fair of the season – the Shenzhen Boss Hire Virtual Presentation and Recruitment Event (Phase 1) – was held online today by the CEIBS Career Development Centre (CDC) and Shenzhen Alumni Chapter.

As part of CEIBS’ ongoing efforts to support the career development of MBA students and alumni during the COVID-19 pandemic, the CEIBS Career Development Centre and Alumni Association have co-organised a special series of C-Suite Alumni Career Sharing session webinars.

None of us could have imagined the rocky start of 2020 as we suddenly found ourselves amid the COVID-19 outbreak. Though trapped at home, we have come to realise that the whole world is more closely connected than ever before.

Now in its fifth year, the Global Contest for the Best China-Focused Cases was again organised by the Steering Committee of the Shanghai MBA Case Development and Sharing Platform in 2019. The contest is open to case developers both inside and outside China and serves to further promote teaching and research on relevant management issues and practices in a Chinese business context from a global perspective. The 2019 contest welcomed a total of 254 cases by 467 authors from 85 colleges and institutions in China and around the world. A rigorous screening process was then carried out, including initial reviews, blind reviews, area editor & chief editor’s reviews, the Nominated Case Award selection, and the Best Case Award selection. Amongst the outstanding cases, one case won the Best Case Award, nine won the Nominated Case Award and another two won the newly added Special Recognition Award.
