Chinese enterprises, especially high technology companies, attracted 47% of MBA graduates.

Shanghai – CEIBS Professor Sheng Songcheng was among a group of newly-appointed counsellors of the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government who today received letters of appointments from Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shanghai Committee and the Mayor of Shanghai Ying Yong. To date, there are 30 counsellors, both accomplished scholars and seasoned experts in their fields, serving as the brain trust of the Government.

London – The opportunities for China and the UK to collaborate within the financial sector in today’s post-Brexit, fintech and big data focused environment were explored in depth today during a forum co-hosted by China’s leading international business school, CEIBS, and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in the UK. As is usually the case with any recent discussion on fintech, the issues of data security and privacy protection were also raised.

Munich, Germany – The benefits of a strong relationship between China and Europe, and the enterprises of both countries, was among the themes touched upon during today’s inaugural leg of the 4^th Europe Forum series being hosted by China’s leading international business school, CEIBS, and its partners. Speakers such as Board Member and CEO of Chinese international investment company CNIC Corporation Ltd. Mr. Yuxian ZHOU; and Professor Jianqing JIANG, Chairman of the SINO-CEE Fund that manages the financial operations of the China-led Belt & Road Initiative, weighed in on the opportunities available when both sides work together in today’s digital era and beyond.

As part of the “CEIBS Insights 2018” series of events aimed at celebrating the 15^th anniversary of the China-EU Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, CEIBS today hosted its third Master Class of the year. The event was headlined by former Prime Minister of France Jean-Pierre Raffarin, who is also the Charles de Gaulle Chair in Global Leadership as well as Distinguished Professor at CEIBS. Mr. Raffarin, well-known by many Chinese people as a “good friend” of China, took the opportunity to share with the more than 400 attendees some reflections on his own personal leadership journey.

An audience of about 100 attendees including CEIBS students, faculty, staff and members of the Shanghai-based French business community was charmed today by former Prime Minister of France Jean-Pierre Raffarin during a lecture where the long-time friend of China and its people shared his insights on the topic “The French Approach to Leadership in Business and Politics”. His lecture is part of a series of events being held, this month, in his capacity as Charles de Gaulle Chair in Global Leadership as well as Distinguished Professor at CEIBS. Tomorrow he headlines a CEIBS Master Class that has generated significant interest.

June 30, 2018. Accra – President (European) of the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), Professor Pedro Nueno, today called on H.E. Mr. John Agyekum Kufuor, Former President of Ghana, at his residence in Accra’s Airport Residential area. Professor Nueno, who is on a three-day visit to Ghana from June 29 to July 1 is leading a delegation of 25 business executives from Spain. Referred to as the “Harvard Group”, they are in Accra to gauge the progress CEIBS has made since its establishment in Africa some 10 years ago, and also to meet with alumni and explore business opportunities.
