“As a marketer, the one thing you don’t like is stability.” This was just one of the messages delivered by Dow Asia Pacific President Jon Penrice to the nearly 70 members of the CEIBS community who gathered at our Shanghai campus this evening for our latest CEIBS Executive Forum. Mr. Penrice’s talk, entitled Creating Value in an Ever-changing Chemical Industry, examined some of the forces driving change and how companies can create value by translating these into opportunities.

Paris – The CEIBS Insights 5^th Europe Forum 2019 China-France Investment Dialogue, co-organised by CEIBS, the Committee of Exchanges Between France and China (CEFC) of CCI Paris Ile-de-France, and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in France (CCICF), was held today at the Hôtel Potocki in Paris on the theme of Consumption Upgrade: A New Opportunity for China-France Economic Co-operation.

October 03, 2019. London – Around 250 scholars, entrepreneurs and senior executives from China and the UK shared their views on new openings in the Chinese market for British firms, at the CEIBS Insights UK Forum in London.

As we approach Mid-Autumn Festival, a special occasion on which to appreciate the beauty and wonder of the full moon, we would like to extend our most sincere greetings to the more than 22,000 CEIBS alumni around the world. This summer, CEIBS welcomed the high-spirited MBA2021 cohort, awarded research and teaching awards to professors who have achieved outstanding results over the past year and we were officially re-certified as an accredited business school by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). In just over two weeks, we will commemorate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the PRC, and in less than two months, we will celebrate CEIBS' 25th anniversary. With so many wonderful memories to look back on and more exciting events to look forward to, we believe that this Mid-Autumn Festival will be especially joyous for the whole CEIBS community.

August 29, 2019. Beijing – On the afternoon of August 29, the nearly 30 participants of the 14th Workshop for European Diplomats, led by Counsellor Lin Hang from the Department of European Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), paid a visit to CEIBS Beijing Campus. CEIBS Vice President and Dean Ding Yuan attended the workshop and delivered a keynote speech. Assistant President and Chief Representative of the Beijing Campus Mr. Ma Yusheng then accompanied the participants on a campus tour. Senior Consultant of the Dean’s Office and Director of CEIBS Education Foundation Mr. Xu Bo and a number of CEIBS alumni also attended the event, exchanging insights with 27 diplomats from European countries including Germany, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Romania and Finland.

August 25, 2019, Shanghai – As part of this year’s CEIBS 25^th Anniversary Celebration, school’s Shanghai campus today hosted the 2019 CEIBS Family Day. CEIBS Union Chairwoman, Assistant President and Director of Dean’s Office Ms. Xu Huijuan; Director of Human Resources Department Ms. Dong Xuejun; Assistant Director of the President's Office Ms. Xu Jiahui; and CEIBS Union Vice Chairman Mr. Jin Liqiang joined in the events and had fun together with nearly 200 faculty and staff members, as well as their families.

July 11-13, 2019. Singapore – After half a year of elaborate preparations by the CEIBS Alumni Relations Office and CEIBS Alumni Association Singapore Chapter, the 2019 CEIBS Asia Alumni Reunion kicked off in Singapore on July 11. The three-day gathering drew nearly 100 alumni from chapters all over Asia. As part of the CEIBS 25^th Anniversary Celebration, the event aimed to treat alumni to an enjoyable audio-visual feast and an exchange of ideas. The CEIBS Alumni Association Singapore Chapter also held the inauguration ceremony of the 2^nd Council during the reunion and the CEIBS Asia Alumni Union was also established.
