About the Lecture
The Chinese Economy is in a fast transition period not well understood by the rest of the world. While China’s economic growth has been steadily slowing, its economic structure has been rapidly upgrading. China’s private companies are raising R&D spending and their products are moving quickly up in quality ladder. Pressured by the adverse external environment created by US President Donald Trump, the Chinese government has had to look internally and has recently announced policies in favour of China’s private sector. For technologically advanced Korean companies, this new era of the Chinese economy brings many new opportunities.
