Managing Family-Owned Businesses: China vs. Europe

As Chinese firms compete for a larger share of both the domestic and global market, the skills of those at the helm have never been more important. This is especially true for China’s family-owned companies, many of which are also grappling with succession issues as they expand abroad.

  • When should a family firm look for outside management expertise?
  • What are the skills needed by family members tasked with managing the family firm?
  • How can those leading family businesses prepare their teams for doing business at the global level?
  • What are the lessons Chinese firms can learn from Europe, and vice versa?

Join us for a Master Class with Dr. Gerard Van Schaik, who will draw on his rich experience in the corporate world as he shares his views on Managing Family-Owned Businesses.
