6th China-India Cooperation Forum——High Growth Entrepreneurship and Innovation
The Indian entrepreneurial ecosystem, which in 2018 is where the Chinese one was ten years ago, presents exciting opportunities to Chinese entrepreneurs and investors. Therefore, there is a great opportunity now to get in at the very early stages of the entrepreneurial boom in India, a country that for the past 20 years has grown its GDP at an average rate of 7.1%.
The 6th China-India Cooperation Forum focuses on high growth entrepreneurship and innovation. We are bringing the CEOs of seven ventures, all of which have raised multiple rounds of institutional funding (up to US$ 100 million) and are experiencing very rapid growth. They leverage AI, big data and machine learning and apply them to the retail, financial services, B2B procurement, HR recruitment and assessment, media and automotive industries. These ventures fit into two broad categories: i) ventures focused primarily on the Indian domestic market; and ii) ventures focused on the global markets (including India). We are also bringing one of the most experienced early stage investors in India.
