CEIBS Executive Forum: China Consumer Trends in a Post-COVID-19 World
Dear Friends of CEIBS,
Please join us for our upcoming CEIBS Executive Forum on July 14, 2020, with Mr. Bruno Lannes, SeniorPartner, Bain & Company, who will give a lecture on China Consumer Trends in a Post-COVID-19 World.
Several global trends already underway prior to the COVID-19 outbreak will be accelerated by the pandemic. Globalisation, for one, has been called into question this decade and many believe it will be called into retirement in the next decade. Also, labour – once abundant in the past – will become increasingly scarce, boosting capital investment in automation, which COVID-19 will further accelerate.
In this global context, the China consumer behaviour and the channel landscape will be profoundly transformed. For example, home will become the ‘new centre of life’ for consumers and digitalisation will become even more ubiquitous.
Mr. Lannes will further explore all these trends and their implications for brands at this special CEIBS Executive Forum on July 14.
