We cordially invite you to attend our Executive Forum on March 6, 2019, where Credit Suisse’s Managing Director and Head of Strategic Recruitment UHNWI, Mr. Marcel Roca will give a presentation on The Future of Wealth Management, including:

• An introduction to Credit Suisse as an organisation;
• How Credit Suisse is adapting to the transformation of wealth management;
• Credit Suisse’s International Wealth Management division’s strategy; and,
• The role of the relationship manager.

Founded in 1856, Credit Suisse has today a global reach with operations in about 50 countries and 46,840 employees from over 170 different nations. Its broad footprint helps the company generate a geographically balanced stream of revenue and new assets and allows it to capture growth opportunities around the world.

Credit Suisse believes wealth management is one of the most attractive segments in banking, as global wealth is projected to continue to grow faster than GDP over the next several years. Mr. Roca will explore this topic in more depth and share his thoughts on the next generation’s power in the financial industry as well as the latest job requirements in this constantly changing financial sector.

About the Speaker

Marcel Roca started his career with Credit Suisse in 1979 in Zurich. Following a number of assignments with the internal Training & Development department, he was appointed as the Head of Apprentices at Credit Suisse’s head office in 1984. In 1987, he took on responsibility for all apprentices at Credit Suisse in Switzerland. In 1989, Marcel Roca moved to Abu Dhabi to support the Government of the United Arab Emirates as a Credit Suisse expert and to help establish a Banking & Finance Programme for local students within the system of the Higher Colleges of Technology. After moving back to Switzerland in 1992 and later taking on responsibility for all Human Resources activities for Credit Suisse’s Middle East and APAC operations in 1996, he relocated to Singapore to become the Regional HR Manager for APAC. In 1999, he returned again to Switzerland, where he became the Head of Strategic Recruitment for the Middle East and APAC. In 2005 and 2006, he transferred back to Singapore to support Credit Suisse’s efforts in the area of strategic recruitment. In April 2006, he relocated again to Zurich, where he was appointed as the Head of Strategic Recruiting, managing teams in New York, London, Zurich, Geneva, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Today he supports the CEO for International Wealth Management in Senior Hires and is responsible for HNWI and UHNWI hires in Latin America.
