CEIBS Insight 2018 | Executive Forum: Delivering Sustainable Growth Through Partnership
Dear Friends of CEIBS,
We cordially invite you to attend our CEIBS Executive Forum on November 16, 2018, with Jan Craps, AB InBev’s President & CEO Asia Pacific Zone, who will give a lecture on Delivering Sustainable Growth Through Partnership.
AB InBev began business in China over 30 years ago, adopting a long-term approach to local partnership, sustainability, and talent consistent with the company’s core Dream People Culture platform. China is now one of AB InBev’s most important markets, employing more than 30,000 people whose talent and commitment are crucial to its success. In his lecture, Mr. Craps will share his experience of how great partnerships – with the government, M&A partners, and employees – have aided this success while also helping to build a company which will last for the next 100 years and beyond.
Born in 1977, Mr. Craps is a Belgian citizen. He earned a degree in Business Engineering from KU Brussels and a Master's in Business Engineering from KU Leuven, Belgium. He has also completed post-graduate programmes in Marketing and Strategy at INSEAD in France, as well as the Kellogg School of Management and Wharton Business School in the United States. Mr. Craps worked as an associate consultant with McKinsey & Company before joining AB InBev in 2002. He acquired a range of international experience in a number of senior and executive marketing, sales, and logistics positions in France and Belgium.
In 2011, Mr. Craps relocated to Canada where he was appointed Head of Sales for Canada followed by an appointment as President & CEO of Labatt Breweries of Canada in 2014. He then relocated to Melbourne, Australia where he led the successful integration of AB InBev and SAB Miller in Australia, India, and South East Asia.
Mr. Craps is a member of AB InBev’s Senior Leadership Team. He heads the combined APAC Zone headquartered in Shanghai, leading 35,000 employees in growing AB InBev businesses in China, Australia & New Zealand, East Asia, South Asia, and Southeast Asia.
