We cordially invite you to attend a CEIBS Executive Forum on April 11, 2018, with Sylvain Laurent, Executive Vice President of Dassault Systèmes, Global Direct Business Transformation Sales Force, Global Field Operations Asia/Oceania. Mr. Laurent will give a lecture on “Dassault Systèmes: Renaissance of the Industry ”.

Following the Industry 4.0 revolution in manufacturing which led to machine automation, digitalization of processes and information systems, we are entering a new world made up of Makers and Innovators. A world in which industry game-changers such as Tesla and Joby Aviation are making new kinds of products that make us rethink mobility, requiring a new type of engineers and thought processes. This industrial revolution will be a driving force of innovation for all manufacturers around the world, raising challenges for traditional companies that will need to transform themselves in order to adapt to the workforce of the future. It will also bring into the digital world new players, such as smart cities increasingly interested in identifying new ways to connect and manage the lives of their citizens.

In his lecture, Mr. Laurent will draw on his extensive expertise to elaborate on how a revolution in the industry is influencing global manufacturers, and how to achieve success within this context. Mr. Laurent was appointed Executive Vice President, 3DS Business Transformation of Dassault Systèmes in April 2011. In this role, he is responsible for sales to strategic customers, as well as for 3DS solutions and services worldwide. He is also a member of the executive committee. Mr. Laurent joined Dassault Systèmes in 2008 as head of Business Transformation Sales in Europe, with solid experience in large accounts management. He has been instrumental in enabling Dassault Systèmes to pursue the transformation of its “go-to-market” strategy. Mr. Laurent has more than 25 years of experience in the PLM domain, having worked previously at Siemens PLM Software and IBM PLM, as well as having created a PLM Consulting and System integration company.
