2026 CEIBS Global EMBA Annual Symposium

The global business landscape is being reshaped by geopolitical shifts, rapid technological advancement, and the ongoing reconfiguration of supply chains. Within this evolving context, China’s role is undergoing a profound transformation—from the “world factory” that powered global manufacturing to an increasingly influential innovation engine shaping the future of industries.
This transformation is unfolding on two fronts. On one hand, multinational companies in China are moving beyond localisation toward deeper integration into China’s innovation ecosystem—shifting from “Made in China” to “Innovated in China.” On the other hand, Chinese companies are accelerating their global expansion, evolving from product exporters into builders of globally competitive brands and creators of long-term value.
Against this backdrop, the 2026 CEIBS Global EMBA Annual Symposium brings together business leaders, innovators, and academics to examine how these shifts are redefining global competition and collaboration. The programme follows this transformation journey:
- A keynote address sets the macro perspective on China’s evolving role in the global economy
- Part I explores how multinational companies are renewing their strategies and co-creating within China’s innovation ecosystem
- Part II focuses on Chinese companies expanding globally, leveraging digital intelligence and technological capabilities
- The closing discussions examine how emerging innovation frontiers, from AI to aerospace, are reshaping the rules of global industry
Through keynotes, executive dialogues, and cross-sector exchange, the symposium offers a platform for candid insights into growth strategies, global positioning, and the future trajectory of business in and beyond China.
