  Decoding LaBuBu’s Success: Marketing for Creative Industries
  An engaging lecture by Dr. Hyun Young Park, Associate Professor of Marketing at CEIBS, a globally recognised behavioral scientist named one of Poets & Quants’ “Best 40 under 40 Professors.” She will share the topic “how did an IP (Intellectual Property) like LaBuBu achieve worldwide viral success?” Using scientific evidence, this lecture will explore the success factors behind LaBuBu that are replicable to stimulate the success of the next IP, as well as the non-replicable factors.
  Going beyond the LaBuBu case, the lecture will examine the characteristics of creative industries—such as gaming, music, film, fashion, and food—and related IP businesses. It will then discuss the unique role of marketing in these industries that functions fundamentally differently from most conventional consumer goods industries.
