F-Dialogue x MBA Function 303 | Understanding Value Investing Through Berkshire's 60-Year History
According to the data disclosed in Berkshire's 2024 annual report, Mr. Buffett has achieved an astonishing cumulative investment return of over 55,000 times for Berkshire's shareholders over the past 60 years. When we break down this investment return, we find that during this period, Berkshire has achieved over 10,000 times growth in insurance float, over 10,000 times growth in operating profit, a 95% success rate in acquisitions, a 99% winning rate in stock investments, and a 100% success rate in dealing with financial crises.
On April 26th, CEIBS MBA Programme, in collaboration with FMBA Programme, will host a special event featuring Mr. Roy Wang, a 2011 CEIBS MBA alumnus and founder of Deepthink Information Technology Company, and Mr. Qi Dongchao, a 2014 EMBA alumnus and Chairman of Giant Sequoia Fund.
